What problems should be noted during the operation of the pipe threading machine?
The following are the operational precautions for pipe threading machines provided by the manufacturer:
1. Before work, check whether the motor insulation and grounding are in good condition. For machines used outdoors, the motor shall be fitted with a rain‑proof cover.
2. The forward‑reverse switch of the machine shall be installed in an easily‑accessible position. Regularly check the switch knob for electric leakage.
3. Stop the machine before engaging the die head during threading to avoid personal injury. When threading pipes, the clearance between the pipe plate and pressure plate shall be no less than 10 mm.
4. Continuously apply cutting oil when threading pipes. Operators are not allowed to wear gloves.
5. Upon completion of work, cut off the power supply, clear away metal chips, and remove oil contamination from the machine to keep it clean.
