Precautions for Using Hydraulic Clamping Round Steel Quick Threader:
1. Before using the round steel threader, perform a no-load test run to confirm normal operation before formal use.
2. The forward-reverse switch of the round steel threader should be installed in an easily accessible position and ensure safety and reliability.
3. The round steel threader generally operates at low speed. For those with a gear box, select an appropriate speed based on the quality of the threaded surface produced. Do not accelerate step by step to prevent burrs or deformation of the pipe end. Maintain the oil level in the gear box within the specified range.
4. Do not use hammering to tighten or loosen the rear stopper, feed handle, or movable scale of the pipe threader. When threading long round steel, the end must be properly padded and supported to prevent swinging. After threading, loosen the feed handle, rear stopper, and pipe clamp, then slowly withdraw the round steel to avoid damaging the threads.
5. The round steel is threaded in one go. Add lubricating oil to the threading area each time to ensure a smooth threaded surface and extend the life of the dies.
After use, promptly cut off the power supply, clean up the chips, and remove oil stains from the machine. For long-term storage, apply oil and store it properly.
Method of Using Round Steel Quick Threader: Select the appropriate die set based on the diameter of the round steel. Each die set has two sets of numbers: one indicating the die size (the same for each die in the set), and the other indicating the installation sequence number. Remove the die head from the slide, loosen the handle nut, rotate the curve plate to the position with a large scale. Install the selected die set into the die slots in the corresponding sequence order. The locking notch will align with the curve plate. Then adjust the curve plate so that the scale indicator line on the curve plate aligns with the required scale of the workpiece, tighten the handle nut to correctly position the die, lift the die head and keep it ready for use. Rotate the variable distance disc to the desired size position.
