Introduction to Xinwang Pipe Threaders
Pipe threaders, also known as electric pipe threaders, electric pipe cutting and threading machines, die stockers, pipe thread cutting machines, and steel bar threaders, are electric versions of manual pipe thread dies that were used before 1980. They make pipe thread processing during pipeline installation easier, faster, and reduce the labor intensity for pipeline installation workers.
A pipe threader consists of: the machine body, motor, gearbox, pipe chuck, die head, cutter bracket, feed mechanism, and cooling system.
To save manufacturing costs, two types of pipe threaders have emerged in the market: heavy-duty and light-duty.
Heavy-duty pipe threaders feature a fully aluminum alloy machine body. Their model codes are generally 100 or 100A. They are more expensive, have a large slide span, good stability, and are durable. Typically weighing around 175 kilograms, they are suitable for fixed locations and大批量 processing of pipe threads.
Light-duty pipe threaders generally have an iron plate (2mm thick) at the bottom of the machine body and an aluminum alloy at the top. Their model codes are generally 100C, 100III, or R4-II. They are less expensive, have a small slide span, and are not as stable, but they are lightweight, typically weighing around 130 kilograms. They are easier to transport and suitable for users with frequent work mobility.
High-efficiency pipe threaders: By increasing the motor power and reinforcing related gearbox components, the threading speed is improved, thereby enhancing threading efficiency. Due to the high speed, chips can be discharged faster, resulting in better threading performance compared to ordinary machines.
